Bonanzaville, West Fargo, ND
Pioneer Days and the 4th of July are good opportunities to volunteer at Bonanzaville. They have always been welcoming and their eclectic displays are entertaining for everyone! Plus, they have a replica Ordnance Rifle which they've wheeled out for us.
Ellen Hopkins Elementary
Moorhead, MN
We were asked to give a presentation to one class during the last period of the day. We finished up when the bell rang, but then we were subject to the entire student body which was then set loose. We were there for a couple of more hours because there was so much interest in our display. We had our dummy rifles and drilled our "recruits." They gladly ate our stale hardtack, all of it! It was great to see so much enthusiasm in such young hearts.
Heritage Days
East Grand Forks, MN
